You were put on earth to make a significant contribution to God’s eternal purposes in the world. Ephesians 2:10 says, “For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” These “good works” are your service to God. You are saved, called, commanded, and shaped for serving Him.

True Oak Fellowship offers a variety of service opportunities. These volunteer positions operate according to two great service principles:

1. Every person is a “10” in some area
2. There are no unimportant areas of service to God; they are all vital!

Through our Discovering Ministry 301 Class we are committed to help you discover your unique, God-given “shape.”

S = Spiritual Gifts (God-given abilities that enable you to do His work effectively)
H = Heart (your unique desires, dreams, ambitions, and affections)
A = Abilities (your natural talents and learned skills)
P = Personality (your unique personality wiring pattern)
E = Experiences (the totality of life experiences that make you uniquely you)

When you serve in an area that fits your unique shape, you are happy, fulfilled, and effective; you feel alive! Both you and the kingdom of God come out a winner!

If you’d like to throw a towel of service across your arm and do God’s work in an area that fits your shape, True Oak Fellowship offers many opportunities including, audio-visual arts, dramatic and musical arts, teaching for all ages, small groups, facilities, hospitality, helps, planning, organization and administration, you name it!
